In honor of the approaching day of love, Valentine's Day, I carefully curated an outfit that is filled with love. I picked out pieces that are from very special people that I've had the honor of becoming friends with through my blog. Love you, girlys!
I probably gush about the stuff Dani sends me a lot, but seriously, 50% of my wardrobe is just things she's sent me in the last year. The cardigan was from an awesome care package and the dress is a Christmas present. They seemed to naturally want to be paired together. Who am I to fight destiny?
I feel lucky to have the headband in my life as I won it from a giveaway that Ruta hosted on her YouTube channel. As a long time follower of her blog, and admirer of her style, it seems very cool to own something she picked out and that she would wear herself!
Last, but certainly not least, I could not leave out this pretty little handmade necklace that Lyndsey recently sent me. As I was looking over my outfit, I realized I had on no jewelry. This necklace stood out to me in my collection and definitely adds that touch of "love" to my Valentine's look.
Happy Valentine's Day! :)
Outfit details - Dress & cardi, from the delightful Dani (both F21 pieces) - Headband, won from the ravishing Ruta (another F21 gem) - Necklace, handmade by the lovely Lyndsey - Tights, $5 (Wal-Mart) - T-strap heels, $3 (thrifted, Target brand) - Lipstick, Dark Wine by Wet'n'Wild

I have that same dress! I've only worn it one time because I don't know how to wear it...but now I want to try to winter-ize it!
and did I see you are from Monroe, home of the cheese festival? I was in the UW marching band and we used to come every year!
