Lady In Red

Another glorious snow fall has graced our presence. Even though in retrospect our sidewalk is much smaller to shovel than our previous residents, I still hate shoveling. Last year when we were stuck plowing out our huge driveway, I couldn't help but wish I had some strong armed boyfriend that would do the job. I happen to know a few young men in my neighbor, if only we could be friends and I could get them to do the work! lol

If you can't tell from these photos, I am having a lot of fun with my new short hair! I think it captures the more artsy side of me. Because the hair is outside my comfort zone, I went with an outfit that matched it. I've always felt that red lipstick would clash with a red outfit but I was really diggin' it with this look. I'm looking forward to trying new hairstyles that are suited to hair this short - hello, vintage finger waves! Maybe one day if I'm feeling truly adventurous, I'll go for a faux hawk of some sort. Maybe.

Outfit details - Jeans, 99 cents (thrifted, Gloria Vanderbilt brand) - Top, $1 (thrifted, Target brand) - Booties, $15 (K-Mart) - Necklace, from Dani (F21 brand) - Ring, treasure - Lipstick, Viva Glam 1 A71 by M.A.C - Nail polish, Blue-Ming by Color Club

Love the pics and your hair! First thought was, it's very 1920's. So I'd love to see real vintage finger waves soon.

oh my gosh SOOOOOOO CUTE!!!!!! Ahhh you look amazing with your short hair and that gorgeous layered top! You're making me want to chop off my hair, and I never want to do that. !!!

I've never had the privilege of shoveling snow, but I'm pretty sure anybody from the south would be absolutely willing to, since we're pretty desperate to see inches of snow (or any snow at all) each winter haha
