I never thought I would miss having privacy. Sure, sometimes I'm home alone or I can close my door off from the rest of the house - and that feels private enough to me. But real true privacy doesn't happen that often anymore since moving into a duplex. I refer to my neighbor as "the big guy upstairs" (He's not God, he is just big & lives upstairs). Considering I've heard him snore through the floor, cough, and take phone calls; I can only imagine the things he hears my mom and I scream across the house. The past few days though, the big guy upstairs took a mini vacation. It only happens once in a blue moon, so my mom and I took advantage of it. Turning all of our electronics up as loud as we please and pretending we didn't actually have a neighbor. Hey, nothing against the big guy, but having privacy is pretty cool!
Another thing privacy includes? Walking into my backyard/driveway to take pictures without the chance of the big guy himself suddenly going on a food run. I was able to put on this outfit of a color combo I've been dying to try and then could leisurely take photos on my own time. Well, not so much leisurely as it was about 5 degrees outside and I was ready to grab my puffy jacket at any second. haha

LOL you crack me up! "the big guy upstairs" (he's not God) LLLLOOOLLLLL i can't get enough of that! it's nice to have total privacy, I'll definitely give you that one! I'm always like "I hate being home alone all the time" and then when people come in I'm wishing I was alone hahaha.

Those earrings pull everything together fantastically. Gold star! Also, my boyfriend and I are moving into our first place together that doesn't share walls with anybody else (ie not an apartment or duplex), and I completely relish it after having dealt with other people's noises for so long. No more neighbors getting arrested or yelling at the TV! And, alternately, I can yell at the TV as much as I want to!
