With my recent hair cut, I thought it would be fun to look back at times when I wasn't so lucky to have great looking hair. In all it's glory, here are 5 photos of my worst hair mistakes.

1) Age 4 2) Age 4 3) Age 5 4) Age 12 5) Age 18
1) It all started with a typical baby mullet at age 4.
2) Then it evolved into something ridiculous - bowl cut, buzz cut, and braids?! Yes please!
3) Eventually my mom must have learned how to cut a proper mullet. (I almost skipped over this photo because I thought it was my brother, if that tells you anything..)
4) At age 12, I figured out I could cut my own bangs. I wouldn't perfect them until years later.
5) Blonde. Bleach blonde. What else can I say?
What do you regret in your hair history? I wanna see pictures!

I just...can't think of a pleasant way to start a conversation about the first three photos. Were you...a tomboy? Was your mom? I mean we all have weird kid hair but that mullet bowl cut braids thing...that's just mythical!
I JUST DIED OF EMBARRASSMENT AND LAUGHTER!!!!!!!!!! LLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOLLLLL OMG that is soooo hilarious! I have had the bowl cut/mullet type thing when I was a little girl. My brother took Winterfresh gum and put it on the back of my head and swirled his hands through it (making a nest of gum and hair in the back of my head.) my mom had to cut my hair above my ears. It was soooooooo short I looked like a boy for almost 3 years! It took years for my hair to grow back (because of ectodermal dysplasia!) crazy crazy 90s days hahaha.
The first three photos put every uneven haircut my mom ever gave me to shame!
Aw, you were so cute! Even with the mullet. ;) And the blonde doesn't look so bad! Though I love you as a brunette!
Oh, and you've totally inspired me to do a "hair-story" post myself!
